Lamborghini L804 V12

I saw this phenomenal engine as my husband and I were walking through Museo Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The crazy abstract chrome reflections were a delight to my eyes and I had to photograph it for a future painting. I knew this piece would be a challenge, but I didn’t realize how much. I can safely say that this is one of my more challenging pieces to date. In the chrome you can see my white blouse, skin, and jean-clad legs. You can also see the surrounding windows, stark white floors, another museum attendee, and many other reflections that were a challenge to capture. I’m glad I tackled this piece, but I think my eyes will need a less complex work for a while.
