Ferrari Prancing Horse 2

Artists search for what they enjoy creating and where their talent is strongest. I think for me it would be with painting chrome. There is a wonderful balance between realism and abstraction with chrome. The way that the mirror bends reality. The viewer knows what is depicted, but the distortion sells the shape even more. I love that. 

I have painted the Ferrari Prancing Horse once before. I will probably come back to it many times in the future. Every time I see the Ferrari emblem in a new environment (garage, car show, car exhbition or auction), the reflections in the Horse body change. New colors, shapes, and fun for me to paint. 

This is a smaller 12"x12"x1.5" painting that was created solely for the Abend Gallery Los Angeles Art  Show January 2022, and is available for presale. The painting comes with a Letter of Authenticity and soft portfolio book for my collector. 

My paintings are created in the finest Liquitex and/or Golden acrylic paints and varnished 3x with UV/UVA varnish to lock in their color.
