1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2

Shan-and-Red-MG-MGA.jpg

My husband and I took a week long trip to California last month to photograph beautiful vehicles. One of the locations where we photographed with in an aviation museum. Besides their amazing collection of airplanes, they also had several motorcycles and stunning race cars. This 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 is one in their collection. Not only was I in love with the voluptuous alizarin body, but those headlights were the game changer. I knew we had to photograph her so I could capture her onto canvas. Depicting the warehouse rafters in the bodywork were a challenge, but one I fully embarrassed with pleasure.

This painting was accepted into the 2019 “Best of America” exhibition by the National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society at Montegomery-Lee Fine Art Gallery in Park City, Utah.

“1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2″, 24″x36″x1.5” , acrylic on cotton duck canvas.
