1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2

Wowzers! How stunning is this car? On a trip to Los Angeles in 2019, my husband and I stopped off at the Lyon's Air Museum .

While at this amazing museum, we noticed this incredible 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 race car. I knew I needed to paint her. 

When I came home, I painted the left side of her, and submitted the painting to that year's National Oil & Acrylic Painter's Society Best of America exhibition. The painting not only got in, but sold immediately to a beloved collector. 

Due to the pandemic, my vehicle reference photo library has become sparce. I came upon the full image of this amazing TZ2, and decided to bring her to life on a 5' linen canvas. She took me several weeks to create, but I am so happy with how she turned out. I hope she connects with a collector and she brings them as much joy as she was for me to create.
