Don't you just love how the cerulean sky compliments the vibrant oranges and yellows of this plane? It is one of my favorite color combinations to capture onto canvas.

As an artist, I delight in receiving messages from photographers sharing their vehicle images with me. These artists that use lenses as brushes often capture images that I am unable take because of location or event admittance. This painting is based on such a photo by a wonderful photographer in Texas. He took several photos of sea planes while on vacation. He sent them to me asking if I could use any for my work. We bartered on this image and a painting was created.  I'm thrilled to share that this painting is now in the photographer's home art collection.
