“Crimson Volkswagen Beetle”, 5″x5″x2″ acrylic on wooden cradle

This painting along with the 1964 Ferrari 275GTB were created to participate in the Abend Gallery 5″x5″ annual exhibition. These two paintings were quite a challenge for me as I had never painted a vehicle on such a small surface. I am happy with how they both turned out, and look forward to creating a new 8″x10″ painting for their upcoming small paintings event.
