1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

I have to admit that the crazy reflective grill caught my eye first on this Bel Air. As I walked through the showroom of vehicles that would be up for auction through the Mecum event, this sweet ride called to me. I knew that I would have to capture this onto canvas in the near future. I’m really happy with how this piece turned out. You can just see the Corvette reflected in the bodywork on the right, and another red Bel Air parked close by. I had a blast with the abstract images in the bumper, and took quite an artistic license with the shapes and colors. This was certainly a fun piece to create.
