There is so much to see on this phenomenal vehicle, but I wanted to capture the complexity and personality I saw in her front. The combination of voluptuous curves in contrast to the methodical lines offers a visual tug-o-war for the viewer. The jeweled palette of lilacs and blues are colors rarely seen in vehicles of today.

I must admit that this lilac gem was an absolute joy to create. I mixed 9 different colors of purple for this piece as they conveyed the deep purples of shadows, and the cheerful glint from the sun. This beauty is from an era of swing music, luxury, and optimism. I wanted to get that attitude onto canvas. She is a rare beauty indeed, and I am so happy that I could get that across in this piece.
